Since opening the doors on his independent tyre business ten years ago, Chris Mullins has established and developed an excellent operation and reputation.

Based in Gloucester and offering a range of tyre services, predominantly for car, van, 4×4 and motorcycle users. Chris Mullins Tyres has gone through several developments, designed to help offer top quality products at low prices without any high-pressure selling techniques.

Despite the number of changes and advancements the business has made, one element which has remained constant throughout is their exclusive use of Hunter wheel alignment equipment.

Indeed, the business first purchased a Hunter aligner back in 2008, followed by additional systems in 2011 and another in 2015.

Having worked in the industry for 33 years, I was aware of both the need for wheel alignment within my new tyre shop but also how unreliable some of the systems on the market were,” explains Chris Mullins, director of Chris Mullins Tyres. “At my previous workshop, the aligner broke down frequently, and we, therefore, lost a lot of money. So when it came to equipping my new business, I knew reliability was an important factor.”

“From day one, the equipment and the service and back-up from Pro-Align has been great,” continues Mullins. “They’re reliable, work well, and the printouts are incredibly useful, especially for our body shop customers. We’re very pleased with the Hunter aligners and going forward; we will only upgrade – we won’t look elsewhere. You do pay for it, but once the machine’s paid for, it’s all pure profit. And when you’re doing on average between 500 and 600 alignments a month like we are, I can assure you; it doesn’t take long to pay back the cost of the equipment!”

So, if you’re looking to develop your workshop by investing in high-yielding equipment, why not talk to Pro-Align about its range of high-quality Hunter alignment systems?
