Hunter has launched (at the SEMA show in Las Vegas this week) a tread depth checking system (Quick Tread) that can be integrated with its hands-free alignment checking system, called Quick Check Drive, which was unveiled in September at the Frankfurt Automechanika.
Quick Tread can be installed as a standalone unit or integrated (in a flush mount configuration) with Quick Check Drive. These units can be connected to Hunter’s online business intelligence tool, HunterNet. Digital inspection findings, with easily understood graphics, can be displayed on a Flightboard, allowing customers to immediately the results of the vehicle inspection. The results can also be e-mailed to customers.
Quick Tread is compatible with Hunter’s vehicle identification system, Quick ID. Pro-Align is working hard to ensure that vehicle registration number data in the UK and Ireland can be automatically matched to the correct vehicle specifications when the new systems are launched in Europe in 2019.
